Can I request Police Records through this portal?
As of right now, we do not have a portal to request Police Records. Please email your request to police.records@westjordan.utah.gov.
When can I expect to receive the records?
Requests will be answered within ten (10) business days from the date we receive the request. If the request will take longer than the ten (10) business days, we will notify you that additional time is needed to fulfill your request (UCA 63G-2-204).
How do I receive the records and communicate with the City after submitting the request?
You will receive email notifications when there are updates to your request. You can create an account by using the "Sign In" option at the top of the page. Is there a charge to receive the records?
The first fifteen (15) minutes of fulfilling the request is free. If a request is going to take longer than fifteen (15) minutes to complete, there may be a charge (UCA 63G-2-203).
If you are requesting Fire Reports, there is a charge of $12 per report.

Do you maintain Birth or Death Certificates?
No, the City of West Jordan does not keep these records. Please contact the Salt Lake County Health Department to receive certified copies of these records:

Do you maintain Marriage Certificates?
No, the City of West Jordan does not maintain Marriage Certificates. Please contact the Salt Lake County Clerk's Office to receive these records:
